Smart Portfolio
Smart Portfolio is the capital coordination layer of HyperFlow Phase 2.
It provides a unified, execution-aware view of assets across chains and serves as the gateway that sources capital into HyperFlow Spot—without taking custody, pooling funds, or abstracting away ownership.
Smart Portfolio is designed to make multi-chain spot trading feel coherent and usable, while preserving the core guarantees of on-chain self-custody.

What Is Smart Portfolio?
Smart Portfolio is not a wallet and not a custody layer.
It is a smart account–based coordination system that:
Aggregates balances across supported chains
Tracks asset history and movements
Simplifies funding into HyperFlow Spot
Keeps execution and portfolio state in sync
The goal is simple:
Deliver a CEX-like portfolio experience without centralized deposits.
Assets always remain on-chain and under user control.
Key Benefits
Unified Portfolio View
Smart Portfolio provides a single, consolidated view of on-chain assets across supported chains.
Users can:
See balances across multiple networks
Track historical deposits and asset movements
Understand asset allocation at a glance
Monitor capital available for spot trading
All data is sourced directly from on-chain state. No balances are mirrored or held off-chain.
Simplified Multi-Chain Management
On-chain spot trading today often requires:
Manually switching networks
Managing fragmented balances
Bridging funds across chains
Smart Portfolio removes this friction by coordinating assets through a smart account model, allowing users to interact with HyperFlow Spot from a single execution surface.
Execution-Aware Capital Coordination
Smart Portfolio is tightly integrated with HyperFlow Spot.
This enables:
Accurate visibility into which assets are available for execution
Real-time portfolio updates after trades
Consistent tracking of execution costs and fees
Portfolio state always reflects actual execution outcomes.
How Smart Portfolio Works
At a high level, Smart Portfolio follows this flow:
A user connects their wallet to HyperFlow
Smart Portfolio reads balances from supported chains
Balances and history are aggregated into a unified view
The user chooses to fund HyperFlow Spot
Capital is sourced through the appropriate funding path
Portfolio state updates in real time
Throughout the process:
Assets remain non-custodial
Ownership never changes
Execution paths are explicit and transparent

Funding Paths into HyperFlow Spot
Smart Portfolio supports multiple funding paths, selected based on deposit size, chain, and execution requirements.
1. HyperEVM → Hyperliquid (Native Path)
This is the most direct and preferred funding path.
Uses HyperCore infrastructure
Maintains a 1:1 asset mapping
Deterministic and transparent settlement
Minimal overhead
This path is optimized for reliability and execution clarity.
2. Small Funds: Prefunding (HyperFlow-Built)
For smaller deposits, Smart Portfolio supports a prefunding mechanism built by HyperFlow.
How it works:
Users deposit assets on supported EVM chains
HyperFlow temporarily fronts liquidity on Hyperliquid
Users can begin trading immediately
Final settlement completes asynchronously
This approach prioritizes speed and user experience for smaller amounts.
Important considerations:
Pre-funding has defined size limits
Larger deposits may fall back to bridge-based flows
Thresholds are enforced to maintain system safety
3. Large Funds: Bridge Integration
For larger transfers, Smart Portfolio integrates with external bridge solutions.
This path is used when:
Deposit size exceeds prefunding thresholds
Deterministic settlement is prioritized over speed
Capital size requires explicit bridging guarantees
While slower, this approach provides:
Clear settlement assurances
Reduced liquidity risk
Better suitability for large positions
The appropriate funding path is selected transparently.
Supported Chains & Assets
During Phase 2, Smart Portfolio supports:
Ethereum
Arbitrum
HyperEVM
Hyperliquid (HyperCore)
Asset support is limited to:
Whitelisted tokens
Assets supported by HyperFlow Spot
Chain and asset support expands carefully to maintain execution reliability.
Technical Architecture (High Level)
Smart Portfolio is powered by:
Smart account abstraction
Multicall-based balance aggregation
Chain-specific execution adapters
High-level flow:
This architecture allows HyperFlow to coordinate execution without ever controlling user funds.
Security & Custody Model
Smart Portfolio is non-custodial by design.
Key guarantees:
Users retain full control of private keys
Assets are never pooled
No rehypothecation
Clear trust boundaries
If HyperFlow were to go offline:
Assets remain on their native chains
No balances are frozen
No funds are locked or trapped
Security is achieved by minimizing trust assumptions, not by adding complexity.
Coming Soon
Smart Portfolio will continue to evolve alongside execution improvements.
Planned enhancements include:
Expanded chain support
Deeper portfolio analytics
Improved capital efficiency tooling
Tighter integration with advanced execution routing
All additions are evaluated against a single criterion:
Does this improve execution quality?

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Smart Portfolio a wallet?
No. It coordinates assets but does not custody them.
Are my funds ever pooled?
No. Assets remain on-chain and under user control.
Why are there different funding paths?
Different paths optimize for speed, size, and safety depending on the deposit.
Can I bypass Smart Portfolio?
Yes. Smart Portfolio exists to simplify execution, not enforce it.
Closing
Smart Portfolio exists to solve one problem:
Making multi-chain spot trading usable without compromising custody.
Unified visibility. Explicit execution. No abstraction games.
